Suspects Sought In Gunpoint Robbery At Philly Corner Store: Police (Video)

Two armed men walked into a Philadelphia shop Tuesday evening, Oct. 31 and robbed the cashier at gunpoint, city police say.

It happened at Joel’s Market, 3241 Ridge Avenue, just before 5 p.m., the department said. 

In security footage released by PPD, the pair of robbers are seen walking into the store wearing black clothes and face masks. One appears to pull a handgun from his waistband. 

Police say they made off with $800 and fled in an unknown direction. 

  • Suspect one is described as a Black male wearing all-black clothing and red and black sneakers. 
  • Suspect two is described as a Black male wearing a black Buruj Couture hoodie, black pants, and gray and black New Balance sneakers.
